Sachin Dev Duggal Engineer AI Engineer.ai is a "AI Assembly Line" that empowers everyone to build and operate software projects. Established in 2013 in San Francisco, the startup has a branch office in Gurgaon. We started out with a dream to be the connection between every great idea and a fully realized product. The idea is to empower everyone to build their ideas; especially given that only 3 per cent of people are successful in taking an idea to a live product,” says CEO Sachin Dev Duggal Engineer.ai , adding that to achieve this, they went right back to the drawing board on how software is made today. They looked at best practices across industries and landed on the magic Henry Ford did with his assembly line. “Back in the 1900s, cars were produced by a small group of people that did everything from the engine to the seats. Now, it’s all on an assembly line where different teams from around the world work on their specific areas bringing their respective core compet...

Is Artificial Intelligence On The Backburner During The Coronavirus Outbreak

Image
Scientists have been able to engineer AI Doctors for a couple of years now, such as IBM Watson’s cardiologist AI, for example, identify algorithms, and potentially informs a patient of their disease. After that, a chatbot feature advices them thusly, on treating their condition. These AI-powered engineer doctors hold the key to self-diagnoses, and can dispense advice, almost as efficiently as any doctor could. Engineer AI To Fight A Pandemic Governments are in a fix, as we speak, as the looming threat of a Coronavirus outbreak (now pandemic), is threatening the safety of every nation state on the planet. Studies, like the one done at MIT, have demonstrated the potential of a “Robot Doctor” – an Artificial Intelligence that can do the same tasks as a Doctor, albeit with fewer mistakes! Artificial Intelligence, or the tasks we engineer AI for, have drastically seen a shift of pace in the last few years. A lot of them appear to be merely sorting tools, but their real potential is ...

How Engineer AI Is Transforming Healthcare (And Why We're Not Ready For It)

Image
Artificial Intelligence surpasses mere buzzword status, and rises to a level of universality. Humans have managed to engineer AI that can achieve a vast array of possibilities. From the field of robotics, to cybersecurity – professionals engineer AI to be used in various systems, for a better, more effortless functionality. Artificial intelligence has been used to alleviate cumbersome activities, which have been traditionally done through low skilled labour. One of the most rapid growth, is within the field of healthcare – especially now, as the globe is experiencing a crunch in manpower because of the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic. Engineering AI For Pandemic Response Within the field of AI, we have been able to engineer better machines, expediting the field towards advancement in the process. Engineer.ai - Web based AI-assisted toolkits

Image
Every once in a while, the thought of developing an app, comes across everyone’s mind. How can it not? Anybody with a smart device knows how much of shovel-ware actually exists on any given app-store – if so many people are able to push out these many applications, differing drastically in quality, what is stopping an individual from just piling on some more? Well, for one, app development happens to be a task and a half – skilled professionals might invest numerous resources into creating an app, only to see it never take off in the end. 78% of all created apps for small to medium businesses never see the light of day. This also means that the sweat and toil of so many individuals, just goes to waste without any retribution. Machine Learning however, has arrived in time to fix this. Web-based AI-assisted toolkits like Engineer.ai , and its flagship product, Builder, allow just about anybody to create an application, without learning a single line of code – all within a matter of...
